Making Local Work: Mount Roberts Tramway

The Mount Roberts Tramway management and staff wish you a happy holiday season!

Give the perfect gift that keeps giving, a Mount Roberts Tramway 2013 season pass. The Mount Roberts Tramway is the perfect destination for the entire family; hiking, bird watching, nature center, Chilkat Theatre, and the Juneau Raptor Center Bald Eagle Display.

A 2013 Mount Roberts Tramway season pass is an ideal holiday stocking stuffer! Purchase your season pass before Jan. 20, 2013 and receive 1 free day ticket ($31 value). Season passes can be purchased at the Mount Roberts Tramway during regular business hours or at either Hearthside Book locations. The management and staff of the Mount Roberts Tramway are pleased to invite all 2013 season pass holders to a Gala Event May 2013.

The Mount Roberts Tramway is Juneau's Top Attraction - the tram whisks you 2,000 feet above Alaska's capital, where you'll get a raven's-eye view of Gastineau Channel, the Chilkat Mountains and the lush forests, which are actually alpine meadows, of southeast Alaska.

At the summit of the tram, you'll find well-marked trails and walkways, accented by ancient, traditional totemic carvings that offer you the opportunity to absorb Alaska's natural and historic beauty. In addition to the stunning landscape, you'll often see eagles, ravens, Sitka blacktail deer, mountain goats, bears and wolves.

Fresh Alaskan seafood, hearty hamburgers, and steaks make the Timberline Bar & Grill a restaurant of choice all summer! Locally brewed Alaskan specialty beers, fine wines and mixed alcoholic beverages complemented by a pleasant alpine view is the perfect option for you and your summer guests.

At the top meet eye-to-eye with a non-releasable American bald eagle under the care of the Juneau Raptor Center, our local nonprofit bird care and wildlife education organization. Support your local Juneau host naturalist who provides insightful facts and information about raptors of Alaska.

The Mount Roberts Tramway is owned and operated by Goldbelt, Inc. Juneau's Native urban corporation of 3,300 shareholders. For more information on the Mount Roberts Tramway visit www.MountRobertsTramway.com. Visit www.RavenEagleGifts.com for your online shopping pleasure.

The Early Bird discounted rate is available through Jan. 20, 2013. Prices start as low as $50 for a Basic Season Pass. There are a variety of options available including the Premium Pass for the business executive or a Corporate Pass for your entire office to enjoy all summer. The Mount Roberts Tramway also offers Family Passes and a Shared Pass. Visit the Mount Roberts Tramway office during regular business hours to purchase your 2013 season pass at the Early Bird discounted rate and receive a discount token for Timberline Bar & Grill or Raven Eagle Gifts (must be redeemed by June 1, 2013).
