KETCHIKAN - A group of ambitious and artistic Kayhi students have taken the initiative to start an National Art Honor Society in Ketchikan. Participation in the National Art Honor Society helps students bring their talent and art to the school and community, encourages community service and active participation, and makes students eligible for scholarships. The group plans to participate in and create group and individual exhibits, hold workshops with local artists and art businesses, participate in community art events, and devote themselves to career preparation and exploration.
