Monthly Grind at the Tribal House in Ketchikan

The Monthly Grind provides a chance for us to enjoy local talent at a friendly venue every third Saturday at 7pm, September through May. Tickets are available at Soho Coho, McPherson Music and TBC. Open Mic Night

Open Mic Night is held from 7-10 p.m. at Wired Alaska Internet Café every Saturday, come out to the Internet Café between the Police Station and the tunnel on Grant. Call 225-6119 for more information.

Jam to Gospel/ Bluegrass

Music every Thursday night at 7p.m. at the stARTled Salmon Ketchikan Arts Hatchery in the Salmon Landing Market. Sponsored by Squares and Contras, call 225-2211 for more info.

Bluegrass on Fridays

Each Friday at the New York Café. Stop by for an evening of bluegrass jams every Friday of the winter months from 6pm to midnight. Light dinners and appetizers served from 5-9 p.m. Bring your instrument and join in the music making or just come to listen. For more info, call 225-0246.

Jazz Jammin'at the Salmon

Held by Austin Hays, come jam the night away at the stARTled salmon Ketchikan Arts Hatchery, starting at 7 p.m. every Friday night. Call the Arts Council for more info, 225-2211.

Speakeasy

Island Grind

Uupcoming shows are themed Elvis (Jan. 5), Mardi Gras (Feb. 2) and Celtic (March 1). If you can dance, sing, play an instrument, perform a skit, read poetry, are a storyteller, make a crowd laugh, etc.... we would like to hear from you! The Island Grind, a committee of the Sunnahae Arts Council, is held monthly on the first Saturday of the month, at 7 pm at the Craig High School Auditorium. Local talent is showcased with 15 minute performances, with approximately six acts each show.
