Santa on the Fire Truck, 6:30 p.m., Santa will hitch a ride with the Capital City Fire and Rescue at the Tram, continue up Franklin Street to 4th Street, Calhoun Avenue, 12th Street to Glacier Avenue, up Highlands Drive to Behrends Avenue and loop back to Glacier Avenue. At 7:45 Santa will make his way to Douglas and cross the bridge to Cordova Street, Foster Avenue, around the loop at Cedar Park and back down Cordova Street continuing to Douglas. He will arrive in Douglas and continue to 2nd Street, St. Ann's, and loop back toward 5th street at approximately 8:30 p.m. to greet children and hand out candy canes.

Woosh Kinaadeiyí open mic and poetry slam, 6:30 p.m., 209 Seward St. Open to poets and performers of all ages. Sign up to read at 6 p.m. Theme: Tribute. $5 suggested donation.

Auke Bay Fire Station Christmas Open House, 1-3 p.m., Assistant Chief Quinto will read Christmas stories and Santa will stop by. Santa will travel on the Auke Bay Fire Department Truck at 4:30 p.m., starting at the Auke Bay Station down Back Loop Road, to Lake Shore Drive, Steelhead, Silver, and Wren Drive on to the Montana Creek Subdivisions. He will also stop through the All Season subdivision.
