Southeast swimmers win team title
Swimmers from Juneau and Southeast Alaska participated in Age Group Champs last weekend in Soldotna as well as the US Open at Purdue University in Indiana. Southeast Alaska SEAK Swim Team, made up of Juneau, Sitka and Ketchikan, won the team title.

It is the first time a team from southeast has ever won the meet.

Sara and Melissa Bogert competed in the US Open. Both qualified in one race. Although they were not the same races, they both got 85th place.

Numerous Olympians competed in the meet, including Michael Phelps.
