Digital Learning Day, Feb.5

Digital Learning Day is a national celebration supporting digital learning which is fully integrated into all of America's schools, libraries, and homes to promote life-long learning and good citizenship.

Libraries and schools are encouraged to show their support for Digital Learning Day by hosting a digital learning class, program or workshop. The Department of Education and Early Development, and the Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums is also encouraging the sharing of Alaska digital success stories. Teachers, librarians and students throughout Alaska are encouraged to create 2-minute videos describing how they have successfully integrated technology in their classroom, library or work.

Visit the Alaska State Library's Digital Learning Day webpage, http://library.alaska.gov/is/digitalLearning1.aspx to register your event and/or video. Win an iPad for your school or library by submitting a registration form describing your event or linking to your video.
