SERRC - Alaska's Educational Resource Center's Career Connections program is a week-long program that offers high school students the opportunity to job shadow, learn job-seeking skills, and participate in job exploration activities. In November, 17 students from around the state came to Juneau to job shadow at the following organizations and businesses: Alaska Department of Health & Social Services, Bartlett Regional Hospital, CBJ Engineering Department, CBJ Wastewater Management, Glacier Pediatrics, Gold Creek Child Development Center, Home Depot, JRC/The Alaska Club, Juneau Physical Therapy, Juneau Police Department, Northern Light United Church, Perseverance Theatre, SEARHC, Sonosky Chambers Sachse Miller & Munson LLP, United States Forest Service and Valley Medical Care.
