The full-length production will feature Kristie Cordle-Infante as the Sugar Plum Fairy and Vitaliy Nechay as the Cavalier, courtesy of the California Ballet Company. In addition, over 35 JDU students and local dancers will perform.

Tickets are $15 for adults; $10 for seniors and children 12 and under; and $40 for families (four or more). Tickets are available at the JDU office, Hearthside Books, the Juneau Arts & Culture Center, and at the door.

There will also be a Sugar Plum Fairy Luncheon on Saturday, Dec. 12 from 12:30 to 2 p.m. at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center. Children can meet a few of their favorite Nutcracker characters while enjoying a delicious lunch, plenty of sweets, holiday music, stories, and more. Each child will receive a complimentary photo with the Sugar Plum Fairy. Tickets are $15 each. Families with three or more attending will receive a 15 percent ticket discount.
