US Coast Guard Cutter Liberty Holiday Drive
As winter approaches, many Alaskans are in need of warm clothing. Some do not have a coat that fits and many children have little hope of receiving a new toy this holiday Season.

The U.S. Coast Guard, in partnership with local Juneau merchants, will be collecting donations of blankets, coats, and toys for delivery to the Southeast Alaska communities of Kake, Pelican, Hoonah and Angoon.

If you have a used coat or blanket that is in good condition or can afford to purchase an extra toy during your holiday shopping, your generosity will make a difference for someone else this season.

Donations are being collected at Super Bear, Nugget Mall, Safeway, A&P Market, and the Juneau Federal Building from now until December 8th.

The Coast Guard Cutter Liberty will be delivering the donations during the first of December.
