Douglas Community United Methodist Church to hold annual bazaar fundraiser
Douglas Community United Methodist Church will hold its annual bazaar from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Ded. 1, at the church, which is located at 1106 3rd Street in Douglas on the corner of 3rd and E Streets in Douglas across from the Library/Fire Hall.

The bazaar is the main fundraising event of the year for the Douglas Community United Methodist Women in their efforts to be in mission with women, children and youth locally, statewide, nationally and internationally.

The bazaar will feature: collectibles, attic treasures, arts and crafts, homemade baked goods including jams/jellies, RADA knives and a musical Christmas tea room serving quiche, soup and other delectable delights.

This year the church will feature a variety of Christmas cookies for folks to stock up on for their family gatherings, work and school parties, cookie exchanges or just to have available for your friends as they come a calling during the holiday season.
