Bartlett Regional Hospital Interim Chief Executive Officer Jeff Egbert announced that he has received Chief Financial Officer Ken Brough's resignation, effective Dec. 31, 2013. Egbert made the announcement in a communication to the Bartlett staff and Board of Directors.
Ken and his family will remain in Southeast Alaska. He and his wife will be moving to Prince of Wales Island where they own property. Ken has decided to relocate there to build a fishing lodge with family members and work as a healthcare consultant.
"I would like to thank Ken for his leadership and the financial stewardship he has provided over the past 14 months," said Egbert. "Please join me in wishing Ken and his family great success in these new undertakings."
Egbert and the Board plan to name an interim CFO by the end of December while the search for a permanent CFO is begun.
