Wasilla man files ethics complaint against Palin

WASILLA - Wasilla resident Zane Henning filed an ethics complaint against Gov. Sarah Palin alleging she violated the Alaska Executive Branch Ethics Act.

Henning is charging Palin with violating state laws by using "state time and resources for partisan political purposes" when she was interviewed by Fox Network's Greta Van Susteren, host of "On the Record," for a Nov. 10 show.

"The governor is using her official position and office in an attempt to repair her damaged political image on the national scene," Henning said. "She's talking about the recent republican McCain/Palin campaign platform and strategy in a state office that belongs to the people of Alaska. Sarah Palin campaigned on the ethics ticket and she continues to break the rules she claims to have improved."
