Two Juneau programs receive ACF grants

Two Juneau programs received funding from The Alaska Community Foundation as part of the organization's recent competitive grants cycle.

SAIL, Inc benefited from a $3,000 grant while AWARE received $500 in program support. Grant funding is maximized in both cases through collaboration with the Juneau Community Foundation, which provided additional support to the programs.

SAIL's "Consumer Service Fund Program" provides modifications or assistive devices to help persons with disabilities remain independent while AWARE's "Girls on the Run" program is designed to reduce the risk of partner violence and sexual assault.
