JUNEAU - The Juneau downtown library will host a Family Night for preschoolers Dec. 2 at 5:30 p.m. "Let's Make Music" with Rick Trostel on the trumpet. Rick will read "Ben's Trumpet" and "What a Wonderful World," which has a musical accompaniment. Make your own musical instrument to take home! View a PBS video clip, listen to books and enjoy activities together as a family. A light supper will be served. Each child will receive a free book to take home. The library will also offer holiday crafts for kids Dec. 6 at 2 p.m. Come make holiday cards, ornaments, pop-ups and gift boxes. All materials are provided by the Friends of the Library.
