Harborview Elementary Schoolfifth-grader Jason Hock, left, models athletic gear he bought with money awarded to him by Healthy Futures,a grassroots movement to help children build positive, lifelong physical fitness habits through activity logs and growing youth attendance at recreational events. His P.E. teacher Dave Haas, center, presented him the gear as the class congratulates him. Hock logged his minutes of moderate to vigorous physical activity at least three days a week for four weeks in a row. He completed four months of physical activity logs and his name was included in a statewide drawing for a $500 sports package, which he won. Hock is enjoying the ski gear he purchased to continue his habit of physical activity. For more information, go online to www.healthyfuturesak.org.
