Mendenhall River Community School preschool students visited the Auke Bay Fire Station on Wednesday Oct. 25, as part of their fire safety unit. During the past two weeks students have been learning about fire safety and what fire fighters do. With the help of some parent volunteer students rode to the fire station to meet real fire fighters and see first hand what they do. Both preschool classes would like to thank our parent volunteers and fire fighters: Lt. Scott Fergusson, Captain George Reifenstein, Chief Paul Smith, FF/EMT Bill Wilmoth, FF/ETT Robyn Brobst.
