Juneau's Monthly Grind

The monthly Family Grind, Juneau's live-action puppet variety show is at 7 p.m. and the Anything Goes Bump 'n Grind is at 9:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, at VFW Hall at 1st and Gold. See jugglers, dancers, puppeteers, singers and this month's special guests. The Grind costs only $5 a person or $15 for families - and every person who brings a dessert gets in free. 'Red Light Winter'

Adam Rapp's critically-acclaimed play will open Nov. 9, at Perseverance's Phoenix Theatre. Jaime Castañeda will direct this searing piece about two former college buddies who escape their life in Manhattan to spend an unforgettable night with a French prostitute in Amsterdam's notorious Red Light District. Levi Fiehler, Megan Skye Hale and Brady Ingledue star. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. Nov. 9-11, and Nov. 17-19. dmission is free and donations are appreciated. The show is for mature audiences only.
