Crime of the week
At approximately 4:33 p.m. Sept. 24, the Juneau Police Department was notified of a vandalism that occurred on Douglas Island.

In essence, the victim reported that two excavators were damaged while parked at a rock quarry on Douglas.

The windows to the excavators were broken resulting in approximately $2,100 in damages. Individuals with any information are encouraged to contact the Juneau Police Department or Crime Line immediately.
