Board of Game to meet in Juneau in November
JUNEAU - The Alaska Board of Game will meet Nov 7-11 at the Centennial Hall Convention Center in Juneau to consider more than 50 proposals regarding Southeast hunting and trapping regulations. The deadline for providing written comments to the board is 5 p.m. Friday, Oct. 24 and may be faxed to (907) 465-6094.

Oral public testimony will begin on Nov 7, and anyone wishing to testify must sign before the deadline. Public testimony will continue until everyone who has signed up has been given the opportunity to be heard.

Issues to be addressed by the board include trapping seasons, bag limits and identification requirements; hunting and trapping methods and means; and hunting seasons and bag limits including deer, moose, bear, goat, wolverine, and waterfowl.
