Soldier from Ketchikan receives commendation
JUNEAU - Marine Corps Cpl. Jeremy J. Minshall, son of Roberta and Alan Minshall of Ketchikan, Alaska, recently received a Certificate of Commendation while assigned to Marine Wing Support Squadron 172, Marine Wing Support Group 37, Marine Corps Air Station Futenma, Okinawa, Japan, following a deployment to Al Asad, Iraq.

While deployed in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, Minshall completed 69 equipment repair orders in less than two months. Additionally, Minshall ensured that 28 pieces of broken equipment were repaired to support teams assigned to Combat Logistics Battalion 6.
