PRINCE OF WALES - It's a time to move your body in a forward movement, maybe even adding in some needed lateral avoidance maneuvers; to dress up and try out that Halloween costume; to gather with friends and family to experience that special camaraderie found in accomplishing a collective goal; to try something meant to be just a wee bit zany and different.
It's time for the Zombie Fun Run/Walk 5k, with the option to make it a 3k. We will gather at Annie Betty's in Craig on Saturday, Oct. 27, around 9:30 a.m. for the registration process and last minute instructions. At 10 a.m., walkers and runners will be off for either one or two loops of the Zombie Course. Those participants who wish may wear health flags. Be forewarned though, there will be zombies on the course determined to snatch those symbols of health away. That's where your crafty lateral moves will come in. Participants who finish with at least one of the three flags intact will be given an official time; others will be rewarded with empathy. All participants are eligible for various prizes.
There is no entry fee, as this is a treat provided for all from the Prince of Wales Runners/Walkers Club. Happy Halloween to all - come on out and join the fun!
