Cheers, music and bright camera flashes greeted models with unique fashion statements made out of duct tape, plastic bags, paper sacks and recyclable accessories. And it was all happening on the main stage of the Juneau-Douglas High School on Oct. 13, during the Second Annual Trashin' Fashion Show. Twelve designers presented their work, with the audience voting on the best one at the end of the show. Here, designer Amy Nickerson models her creation "Fragments of Gold." This dress took over 100 trashbags and four rolls of duct tape to make. The boots are also made of duct tape.
