Reptiles appear at the Douglas library
DOUGLAS - Live reptiles will visit the Douglas library Oct. 19 at 3:30 p.m. This program is part of the Natural History Educational Company and the Kentucky Reptile Zoo live animal education program with naturalist Scott Shute. Shute is an accomplished wildlife photographer and author of the U.S. Guide to Venomous Snakes and Their Mimics. He has served as a host and narrator for a wide variety of educational videos and has a primary interest in herpetology - the study of reptiles and amphibians.

Live retiles featured include the corn snake, alligator snapping turtle, king snake, legless lizard, Burmese python, monitor lizard and American alligator.
