The desire to excel and excellence in the craft has always driven me. From the earliest school activities through debate teams I believe to keep young and aware, one must always challenge oneself to excel. I have been fortunate to have great mentors and friends that give targeted advice and stand by you through thick and thin.
How did you get started in this business?
I knew I wanted to move to Juneau while I was in High School. After wrapping up the University side of life that vision came true. I have been somehow involved with the industry from 14 days old as I was a baby in a movie and continued working in the industry until I moved to Juneau. I was fortunate enough to work with wonderful people in Juneau and learn the ropes of television, radio, and print. My experience in those management positions in media helped my management skills, thus enabling me to launch my own business.
Who was your mentor, and how has that person influenced you?
There have been many generous mentors in my formative years as well as mentors that still continue to give me sage advice. This road is an ever-growing experience. You not only get to mentor others, I still have mentors that truly enhance my business and life.
Husband of 26 years, Stuart.
