My girls. I want to be a strong role model for them so they can see that you can do anything you put your mind to. I remember studying for my real estate exam and being so freaked out about not passing; I so desperately didn't want to fail in their eyes. I think they were as excited as I was when I passed. I wanted them to see me have a goal and work hard to achieve it and know that the sky was the limit when it comes to their dreams.
How did you get started in this business?
After being at home with the girls for 10 years, I decided it was time for me to go back to work. ( face it, their comes a time when your preteen is very ok with you not being on every field trip!) I approached Larry Telfer about giving me a part time job, just to get me out of the house a few hours a week. My heart nearly stopped when he said he would not hire me on an hourly wage. Then, a second later, he said that he would only hire me if I would get my license and sell real estate. I was floored. He said he believed in me and that I could do it. I will be forever grateful to him for giving me this opportunity and especially for believing in me right from the beginning.
