What has been your motivation?
M&Ms and champagne.
How did you get started in this business?
Luckily, I was born the eldest sibling, which gave me a head start and lots of practice in organizing people and orchestrating events. (Although the incident in kindergarten involving the large blocks and the barricaded door was not my fault.)
And I have always enjoyed the creative energy bubbling through the arts world.
Who was your mentor, and how have they influenced you?
I am fortunate to have had many people who have taken time to help and guide me along the way. Probably the person I turn to most often for all sorts of advice is my "real" cousin Martha, who is always there when needed, always ready with a good joke, a sensible word, and a good recipe, and whose generous and ebullient spirit is truly inspirational.
