BBB now accepting award nominations
The Better Business Bureau is announcing their first annual Business of the Year Torch Awards in Alaska. Nominations for the 2008 awards are now being accepted.

"Sometimes customers contact us and want to know how they can thank a company for their trustworthy business practices," said Bob Andrew, CEO for the Better Business Bureau serving Alaska, Oregon and Western Washington. "Maybe the company has wonderful customer service or is involved with helping the community. By nominating such a business for these awards you can thank the business and let other customers know it is a respected company."

The nomination deadline is Dec. 1 for Alaska, Oregon and Western Washington. Awards will be given in each state for one large and one small Business of the Year, as well as awards in the categories of Customer Service, Innovative Business Practices and Community Involvement.
