JUNEAU - The Mendenhall Flying Lion's Club is reminding the community that World Sight Day is Oct. 8. This annual day of awareness focuses on visual impairments and blindness. Used eyeglasses may be donated to local eye clinics, and the Lion's Club will sort and recycle these for those in need of glasses in developing countries. For details visit http://www.v2020.org.
