Registration is open for the 2012 Alaska Wood Energy Conference Oct. 9-11 in Ketchikan.
The conference will focus on community use of wood biomass. Sessions will cover success stories; converting to and operating a biomass system; forestry resources; and equipment.
The early registration deadline is Oct. 2. See conference and registration links at www.uaf.edu/ces.
Sponsors include the UAF Cooperative Extension Service, Alaska Energy Authority and the Alaska Center for Energy and Power.
