Pediatric dental clinic offered in Yakutat

YAKUTAT - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) and the Yakutat Community Health Center will host a special Denali KidCare pediatric dental clinic on Oct. 5-9.

This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 5-6, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week (Oct. 7-9). The clinic is open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or are on Medicaid. Dr. Lee Steinle will lead the pediatric dental team for this clinic, and Traci Martinson will be the dental hygienist.

Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special clinic should call Sheri Nelson in Yakutat at 784-3876 to schedule an exam appointment.
