Juneau Symphony seeking musicians
The Juneau Symphony is looking for musicians to join its ensemble, with openings in all sections: woodwind, brass, strings and percussion. Rehearsal will be 7 p.m. on Sept. 29 at the Juneau Douglas High School band room.

The symphony will perform its season premiere on Oct. 29-30, featuring Beethoven's 7th Symphony, under the direction of conductor Kyle Wiley Pickett. The symphony will also perform Britten's "Four Sea Interludes," Bruch's "Violin Concerto No. 1" with Franz Felkl on violin and Bruch's "Kol Nidre" with Jonathan Kreiss-Tomkins on cello.
