The festival, in its fifth year, is scheduled for Oct. 18. Activities will include local arts and crafts vendors, a beer garden, live music, food, games, and home-brew awards.
Festival organizers are looking for arts and crafts vendors, as well as food vendors and musicians, to participate in the street-fair-like market. Tables are $50. For information contact autumnfestival@gmail.com.
The Southeast Alaska's Autumn Pour Homebrew Competition is accepting homebrew entries until 5 p.m. on Oct. 14. Entries can be dropped off at the front desk of the Alaskan Brewery, 5429 Shaune Dr.
Entry fees are $5 for the first entry, and $3 for each additional entry. Two bottles are required per entry. Beer style guidelines and forms can be found at www.BJCP.org.
