Juneau Jazz and Classics founder and artistic director Linda Rosenthal and Los Angeles actor Bill Blush will kick-off the UAS Egan Lecture Series at 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15, in the Egan Lecture Hall with Strings & Stories. The show is intended for families and blends classic stories with classical music in a program that is educational, fast-paced, entertaining and interactive.

Ketchikan Monthly Grind

The season kicks-off Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Saxman tribal house. Live local talent, dessert and coffee all for just $5 per adult, $1 for children.

Lunch with "Hamlet"

Enjoy lunch while being entertained by Perseverance Theatre's cast from "Hamlet" at noon Saturday, Sept. 16, at the Juneau Senior Center, 895 W. 12th St. Cost is $10 in advance and $12.50 at the door.
