JHRC to host "The Rising"

The Juneau Human Rights Commission will host "The Rising", a speaker series aimed to help Juneauites engage with one to another in areas of suicide, mental illness, behavioral health, addiction, domestic violence, and abuse and prevention.

Suicide prevention: "Understanding Suicide; Building Prevention Skills" 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 18 at the Juneau Arts & Culture Center (JACC).

THE 411 ON 211: Get connected, get answers. Presented by United Way Alaska. Alaska 2-1-1 is a free, confidential, health and human services information and referral system brought to you by United Ways of Alaska. This event is at 6 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21 at the JACC.
