The People's Temple

Perseverance Theatre opens its 27th season with The People's Temple, written by Leigh Fondakowski with Greg Pierotti, Stephen Wangh, and Margo Hall, and directed by Leigh Fondakowski. August 31 through September 18.

Performance times: Wed - Sun evenings at 7:30 p.m.; matinees at 2 p.m.

Ticket prices: Previews: Pay-as-you-can; Wed, Thurs, & Sun: $20; Fri - Sat: $25.

Discounts: Seniors (age 65 and older): $5 off ticket price. Full-time students with valid ID: $10 off ticket price.

Featuring the CrossSound Sinfonietta, including Juneau artists Jared Carlson (cello), Patrick Murphy (bass), Todd Hunt (clarinet), Rick Trostel (trumpet), Nathan Bastuscheck (euphonium), Jocelyn Clark (kayagum), and international guest artists

"Composing Alaska" with composer Dr. Matthew Burtner at 7:00pm
