The new FILM Juneau Contest is sponsored by the City and Borough of Juneau, the Juneau Arts & Humanities Council, and the Juneau Economic Development Council with the intent of creating a Juneau promotional video. The video should be no longer than three minutes and contain elements from each of the following areas: Economy, Quality of Life, Capital City, Geography, People and History. The video will be featured prominently on Web sites of CBJ, JAHC, and JEDC. Entries will be judged by a panel of judges, with the top 10 entries being screened at an awards ceremony on April 2, 2010 at Centennial Hall. The audience will participate in the judging for the winning video. The winner will receive a cash prize of $500.
