Did you know that while 97 percent of Americans look online for local products and services, 58 percent of small businesses do not have a website or online presence?
In an effort to encourage more small businesses to get online, Google is traveling around the country to give businesses the tools and resources they need to establish a website, find new customers, and ultimately grow their business.
On Aug. 30th, Google's Alaska Get Your Business Online will be in Anchorage where they'll be working with local businesses to set up a free Intuit website as well as free tools, training and resources. In addition to the event, Alaska business owners can visit www.AlaskaGetOnline.com to launch their free website at any time.
