SEARHC to hold Denali KidCare dental clinic
SITKA - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic in Sitka will host a special pediatric dental clinic the week of Sept. 10-14.

This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, Sept. 10-11, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week. The clinic is open for children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or Medicaid.

Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special pediatric dental clinic should call the SEARHC Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic at 966-8343 to schedule an appointment for an exam. For more information about SEARHC's Denali KidCare special pediatric dental clinics, contact Dr. Barbara Beach, DMD, or Colleen Jackson at the SEARHC Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic number.

Denali KidCare is a state program designed to make sure Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and expecting mothers who meet income guidelines, have insurance so they have full access to health care. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics when pediatric dentists are available.
