Registration for the second annual Juneau DanceFest, scheduled Aug. 31-Sept. 3, at Centennial Hall, is now available. The festival consists of dance classes during the day and live music and dance performances in the evenings. Go online to for a registration form,

and to see a full schedule and price list. Tickets also go on sale this weekend for the DanceFest headliner band, Havana NRG. The festival includes dance classes, dance performances, and live music. Guest instructors from Miami, Portland, Anchorage and Fairbanks will teach classes like Argentine Tango, Hustle, Swing, Lindy-Hop, Salsa, and Afro-Cuban. Local instructors will teach hip-hop, belly-dance, cha cha, line dance, contra dance, Tlingit dance, waltz, and more.
