City Museum hosts art conservation clinic

JUNEAU - The Juneau-Douglas City Museum will be hosting a conservation clinic on Saturday, Aug. 22, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This free clinic is part of the Western Association for Art Conservation's annual meeting, which will be held in Juneau from August 19-21. The clinic, held at the City Museum, is co-sponsored by the Alaska State Museum.

Conservators with specialties in paintings, paper based artwork (prints, drawings, archival) and objects will be available to answer your questions about preservation of your family treasures.
