Blessing of the Animals to be held Aug. 15

JUNEAU - Pets are often a part of our families. They cheer us up, entertain us, and comfort us. Pets can teach us about life responsibilities and relationships. Lessons about birth, illness and dying may be first encountered with the family pet.

Come to Skater's Cabin on Saturday, Aug. 15 at 10 a.m. to have your pet blessed and give thanks for their lives in an interfaith Blessing of the Animals with Aldersgate United Methodist Church, Saint Brendan's Epsicopal Church and Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran.
