Blogging with the Tongass
Ketchikan - If you're interested in keeping up with progress on the Tongass National Forest Plan Amendment, and having a unique opportunity to "converse" with the planners and the public, head into cyberspace to the Forest Service's new Weblog.

"We have established this blog in support of the planning efforts currently being conducted by the Tongass National Forest," said forest supervisor Forrest Cole. "As we move forward with the planning process, our intent is to share some of our initial thoughts and work products and solicit your input on these as well as a variety of other forest planning issues."

Cole hopes that people will visit the site frequently, since new information is posted as soon as it is developed. The blog, found at http://tongass-fpadjust.net/FPA_Blogs.htm, is organized into a series of discussion topics. These topics are identified in the navigation bar on the left side of the screen. Click on the blog topic name to access each discussion. The discussion topics will evolve over time and new discussion topics will be added as the planning process continues.
