The Alaska Library Network has added the Teen Health and Wellness database to SLED and the Digital Pipeline. Alaskan teens, their parents and teachers can now access this information at any time.
The Teen Health and Wellness database, developed by Rosen Publishing, is an award-winning online resource that provides middle school and high school students with nonjudgmental, straightforward, self-help support. This resource was secured through a grant from the National Library of Medicine thanks to the efforts of Steve Rollins, the Alaska Library Network treasurer. The Alaska Medical Library will send posters to each high school this fall to help promote this database.
