The Accredited Collection Facility program involves upholding the highest professional standards in the following areas: 1) the collection facility and its operation and 2) the collection facility's personnel. To obtain accredited status, collection facilities are required to adhere to strict standards in areas such as regulatory compliance, company service standards, specimen handling, operational practices, business ethics, and facility equipment. All accredited collection facilities are also required to maintain a staff of Certified Professional Collectors that are formally trained in DATIA's Collector Training Course, and a Certified Professional Collector Trainer.
One of the most frustrating and costly aspects of workplace drug testing is the high incidence of rejected specimens due to errors at the collection site. As an Accredited Collection Facility staffed with well-trained collectors, we can assure our clients that Tongass Substance Screening maintains a minimal number of rejected specimens, thereby saving everyone time and resources.
"We've worked very hard to achieve this rating and are proud to bring this status to our clients," said Renee Schofield, CEO of TSS, Inc.
"This achievement is a direct result of a conscientious staff that takes their job very seriously. Their gold standard dedication to our clients is quite apparent with this national recognition."
Tongass Substance Screening has offices in Ketchikan and Juneau, as well as their newest location in Keokuk, Iowa.
