Alaska author and legislator Mike Doogan will hold a signing event to celebrate the release of his second novel in the Nik Kane Alaska mystery series, "Capitol Offense." The event will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 22, at Hangar on the Wharf Ballroom at 2 Marine Way #106. The book, which is set in the Alaska State Capitol, is a murder-mystery
filled with political intrigue and plenty of places and characters that will
be familiar to Alaskan political junkies and Juneau residents. Come talk to
Doogan about the dirty business of legislating and pick up a copy of his
latest book. For more information about "Capitol Offense" or the first book in the Nik Kane Alaska mystery series, "Lost Angel," go online to www.mikedoogan.com.
