Juneau Gastineau Humane Society Shelter: 789-0260 Visit the pets Mon.- Fri. 3-5:30pm and Sat. 2-5pm

Deep down under all the fur and the ample love handles Donnie the dog has a big heart filling up his barrel chest. Donnie is a 5 year old neutered male Lab Husky mix but he acts more like a lap cat since his favorite two things seem to be chin scratches and butt rubs.

Bird Bird Bird...Bird's the word. Right now "bird" is the word at the Gastineau Humane Society. If we had any more feathers we might just take off. Currently up for adoption we have two precious parakeets, one lovely lovebird and a pair of darling doves. The doves are a couple, but the rest of the birds belong in the singles section under the heading; "will sing for love". Come meet the flock!

Moe is a 7 ½ year old Norwegian Forest Cat cross who has a pretty tricolor coat that she loves to have brushed. She has somewhat of a passive attitude but she isn't shy about her love for attention and she gets along well with other cats.

August is upon us and the stars say it should be a good month for Leo. Leo is a 2 year old neutered male cat with a purrfectly adorable face and a playful personality. You can fall for Leo at the Gastineau Humane Society Monday thru Friday 3-5:30 or Saturday 2-5.
