Sheldon Jackson Museum operations continue
The Sheldon Jackson Museum and Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum Gift Shop will maintain operations indefinitely. The Sheldon Jackson Museum was purchased by the State of Alaska in 1985, and has continuously operated since as a section of the Alaska Department of Education & Early Development, Division of Libraries, Archives and Museums. The closure of Sheldon Jackson College will have no impact on the operations of the museum.

Museum summer hours are 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. daily. General admission is $4, visitors 18 and younger, and members of the Friends of Sheldon Jackson Museum are admitted free.
