SITKA - The SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic in Sitka will host a special pediatric dental clinic the week of Aug. 31 to Sept. 4.
This special pediatric clinic will feature dental examination appointments on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 31-Sept. 1, with follow-up treatment taking place later in the week (Sept. 2-4). The clinic is open to children younger than 18 years old who are currently enrolled in the State of Alaska's Denali KidCare program or Medicaid. Dr. Kristi Linsenmayer will lead the pediatric dental team for this special clinic.
Parents and guardians who wish to have their children participate in this special pediatric dental clinic should call the SEARHC Mt. Edgecumbe Hospital Dental Clinic at 966-8343 to schedule an appointment for an exam. Denali KidCare is a state program that provides health insurance and access to health care for Alaska resident children younger than 18 of working and non-working parents, and for expecting mothers who meet income guidelines. SEARHC partners with the Denali KidCare program to provide special clinics around the region when pediatric dentists are available.
