The group blends a mix of swing, world music, jazz and bluegrass, so music lovers of any ilk should find something to like. The concert will cap off the group's four day stay in Juneau, working with area musicians of all ages at its Django Camps for Kids and Adults. The concert will be held at Centennial Hall Thursday, July 29 at 7:30 p.m. For tickets or more information, visit the JAHC website at www.jahc.org.

Frank Maier Marathon & Douglas Island Half Marathon: Before you go on that hike this weekend, consider taking part in either the Frank Maier Marathon or the Douglas Island Half Marathon this Saturday instead. The half marathon will cover the first half of the full run. Awards will be given to the top three men and women competitors. Finisher medals and T-shirts will be awarded to all runners. A free BBQ will follow. The marathon begins July 31 at 6 a.m. For more information and preregistration, visit the website: www.southeastroadrunners.org.
