Shrine closed to public until July 31
The Shrine of St. Therese, owned and operated by the Catholic Diocese of Juneau, will have the grounds, road and facilities closed to the public beginning at 4 p.m. on Thursday, July 28, until noon Sunday, July 31.

The closure is taking place so that Teen A.C.T.S. retreatants can use the facilities and grounds for their spiritual retreat. The Shrine Board regrets any inconvenience during these three days.

Generally, all who respect the mission statement of the shrine are invited to visit the grounds, gardens, trails, gift shop and Chapel daily from 8:30 a.m. to 10 p.m. during the summer visitor season.

The regularly scheduled 1:30 p.m. Mass will be held on Sunday, July 31.

For information, please contact the Shrine Business and Reservations Office at 780-6112, send an e-mail to fitterer@gci.net, or visit the shrine Web site at http://www.shrineofsainttherese.org.
